A "check" is one moment we compared every book on one side of one market; the book paying the most that moment gets the count. Only books the board polls can appear here. This window grows as more games settle.
The difference between the best number and the worst one on the same bet is usually a few cents of price. Take −110 when −105 was sitting at another book and you have handed back a chunk of your edge before the game starts. Do it every day and the gap is the difference between a winning season and a losing one.
