Texas needed a game-ending double from Ezequiel Duran to snap a six-game skid that had already cost them the AL West lead. Bobby Witt Jr. came back from a back injury and put three hits and two RBI on Minnesota in his first game back, which is a rude way to announce yourself as healthy.
Seattle, meanwhile, got shut out at home in the series opener. One night, one bad night, and a long season does not turn on it.
