That stillness matters. A favorite tag arriving on a wire in the morning only moves a market if the market hadn't already made up its mind, and this one did that weeks ago. The title price and the Finals MVP board, where Napheesa Collier and Olivia Miles sit at the top, are lagging indicators here, not new information. Nobody is finding the seven and a half wrong in either direction. That's a tell.
Where I'd put my attention is the number itself, because 7.5 is a lot of basketball in a league where playoff possessions get slow and ugly on purpose. Rotations shorten to seven, maybe eight.
