  1. Nick Bosa's calf, Cardinals at 49ers (Sun, 4:05 ET). Word came down this morning that Bosa pulled his calf in practice and is expected to miss multiple weeks. That is not a rotational piece. A five-time Pro Bowl edge leaving a defensive front changes third down, changes how long a quarterback gets to hold it, changes the shape of every drive. What would turn this into a play: clarity on who absorbs those snaps, and a number that hasn't already swallowed the news whole.

The Bosa spot. Pass rush injuries are the slowest-moving information in this sport, because everyone can name the player and almost nobody adjusts for the snap count he was eating.
